Dominant groups
An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the RDA Northern Territory in 2023/24 shows the three largest industries were:
- Mining (33,352 million or 71.5%)
- Public Administration and Safety (3,193 million or 6.8%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (2,306 million or 4.9%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 38,851 million in total or 83.3% of the total exports by industry in the the RDA Northern Territory.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Northern Territory accounted for 71.5% in Mining; 6.8% in Public Administration and Safety and 4.9% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing.
