An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in Snowy Monaro Regional Council area in 2023/24 shows the three largest industries were:
- Construction ($887million or 36.0%)
- Electricity, Gas, Water and Waste Services ($266million or 10.8%)
- Public Administration and Safety ($148million or 6.0%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $1,301 million in total or 52.8% of the total local sales by total industry in the Snowy Monaro Regional Council area.
