Output by industry is a gross measure of the total sales of each industry sector in the Shire of East Pilbara. It does not measure how productive each industry sector is at producing this output - which is measured by value added.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 37.3% in Mining; 9.8% in Manufacturing and 12.8% in Construction.
