Dominant groups
An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River in 2023/24 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing (234 million or 36.0%)
- Accommodation and Food Services (109 million or 16.8%)
- Mining (97 million or 15.0%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 440 million in total or 67.8% of the total exports by industry in the the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 13.6% in Manufacturing; 0.7% in Accommodation and Food Services and 58.7% in Mining.
