- Public Administration and Safety ($1,397 million or 9.6%)
- Financial and Insurance Services ($975 million or 6.7%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $7,278 million in total or 50.0% of the total imports by industry in the Sutherland Shire.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 33.5% in Manufacturing; 6.2% in Public Administration and Safety and 8.0% in Financial and Insurance Services.
The major differences between total imports by industries of Sutherland Shire and New South Wales were:
