An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the City of Knox in 2023/24 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing ($3,201 million or 31.7%)
- Transport, Postal and Warehousing ($943 million or 9.3%)
- Public Administration and Safety ($931 million or 9.2%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $5,076 million in total or 50.2% of the total imports by industry in the the City of Knox.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Victoria accounted for 33.0% in Manufacturing; 6.3% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing and 6.7% in Public Administration and Safety.
