An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in the Hilltops Council area in 2023/24 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Construction ($249million or 17.8%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($206million or 14.8%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance ($116million or 8.3%)
