- Health Care and Social Assistance ($83 million or 14.0%)
- Financial and Insurance Services ($56 million or 9.5%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $304 million in total or 51.6% of the total imports by industry in the Dungog Shire.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 33.5% in Manufacturing; 4.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance and 8.0% in Financial and Insurance Services.
