Dominant groups
An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in Western Downs Regional Council in 2023/24 shows the three largest industries were:
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (1,573 million or 47.4%)
- Mining (808 million or 24.4%)
- Electricity, Gas, Water and Waste Services (357 million or 10.8%)
