An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in the City of Wanneroo in 2023/24 shows the three largest industries were:

- Manufacturing ($1,319million or 10.0%)

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 31.2% in Construction; 5.7% in Manufacturing and 4.3% in Retail Trade.
