An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in Ku-ring-gai Council area in 2023/24 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing ($2,376 million or 27.9%)
- Public Administration and Safety ($839 million or 9.9%)
- Accommodation and Food Services ($720 million or 8.5%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $3,935 million in total or 46.3% of the total imports by industry in the Ku-ring-gai Council area.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 33.5% in Manufacturing; 6.2% in Public Administration and Safety and 3.3% in Accommodation and Food Services.
