Dominant groups

An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in Central Coast Council area in 2023/24 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing (2,306 million or 36.1%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (437 million or 6.8%)
  • Retail Trade (423 million or 6.6%)

In combination these three industries accounted for 3,165 million in total or 49.5% of the total exports by industry in the Central Coast Council area.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 16.3% in Manufacturing; 2.8% in Accommodation and Food Services and 2.3% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the total exports by industries of Central Coast Council area and New South Wales were:
