Output by industry is a gross measure of the total sales of each industry sector in the City of Albany. It does not measure how productive each industry sector is at producing this output - which is measured by value added.

An analysis of the output by industry sectors in the City of Albany in 2023/24 shows the three largest industries were:

- Health Care and Social Assistance ($534 million or 11.3%)
- Manufacturing ($494 million or 10.5%)
